Finding the light through it all

A JOURNEY THROUGH PERSPECTIVE

Finding the light through it all

Imagine a place that allows you to find peace and calm within yourself, even when there is chaos and drama going on around you.

This does not mean having no feelings, empathy or thought for others. Instead, it allows you to understand more clearly, without negative emotions clouding your judgement or causing you to react from fear or defensiveness.

A Journey Through Perspective is about learning to see life differently. It is about recognising that other people have their own journeys, experiences, emotions and reasons for responding as they do. You do not have to become part of their experience.

You have your own journey, your own thoughts, feelings and choices. Learning to step back into yourself and understand your own perspective can create a greater sense of balance, calm and freedom.

Perspective is not imagination and it is not pretending that everything is fine. It is another way of looking at something that is true. Sometimes we may never fully understand another person's behaviour or response, and that is okay. We do not need to.

We cannot know everything that has shaped another person. Their history, experiences and feelings all contribute to the way they see and respond to the world.

When you begin to see the broader perspective, you can learn to manage your own responses rather than constantly being affected by the negativity or emotions around you.

This does not mean living with your head in the clouds. It means becoming more aware of the good that is around you and giving yourself permission to notice it, engage with it and enjoy it.

You are not here to change other people.

They have their life to live their way.
You have your life to live your way.

Through talking therapy and A Journey Through Perspective, I can help you explore what is happening for you, gain a broader understanding and discover ways to move towards greater calm, freedom and self-confidence.

Your perspective can change the way you experience your life.
